Shimano's MT5 is an outdoor-style inspired cycling shoe that combines the walkability of light hiking shoe with the performance of a MTB shoe. In fact, every aspect of this shoe was designed for you to be comfortable both while walking or riding. Indeed, the outsole has a medium-low stiffness of 4 for more comfort and ease of use when walking and the laces closure system provides performance and walking comfort. It was paired with a top strap for a fast and easy adjustment. Furthermore, the EVA midsole rubber outsole was made for pedaling efficiency and walking comfort.

The shanks plate was reinforced with glass fiber for an optimal sole rigidity to improve your performance while pedaling. Furthermore, the one-piece upper ensures a secure fit, an increased durability and a lighter weight. The shoe is made of high-density yet supple synthetic leather which is lighter, stronger and more durable than natural leathers. It also improves the fit and breathability.
